Confidential Resource Offices
We, in the Office for Title IX and Equal Opportunity, will make every effort to safeguard your privacy. We will not alert the alleged offender without your knowledge or permission should you submit a report or speak with someone in our office. However, we are not a confidential resource, as we may share information in reports with other conduct-affiliated university administrators to help us fully assess whether the alleged offender poses a potential safety threat to our campus. Again, these conversations will be discreet and not include the alleged offender.
We appreciate that you may prefer to access support or receive your options confidentially; meaning, nobody else will learn about the conversation or what you said to the confidential resource. In other words, you can share information with a confidential resource and they will not share your identity with our office or law enforcement.
Please know, however, that information shared with a confidential resource does not constitute notice of an incident to 菠菜网lol正规平台. On- and off-campus confidential resources are listed below.
On-Campus Confidential Resources
You can share information with a confidential resource and the confidential resource will not share your identity with the Office for Title IX and Equal Opportunity, or with law enforcement. However, all confidential resources may need to share general, non-personally identifiable information with 菠菜网lol正规平台’s Clery Act Coordinator to comply with federal law. Information shared with any confidential resource does not constitute notice of an incident to 菠菜网lol正规平台 and will not result in any formal action from 菠菜网lol正规平台 without further reporting. Confidential resources can explain how an individual can report an incident to the Office for Title IX and Equal Opportunity.
